2014 So Far

It's turning out to be a good year so far for sunsets, despite aforementioned haze due to lack of rain.

Quick project: Couch Arm Table

I watch TV on my iPad sometimes through Netflix or Amazon streaming, and I was sick of the iPad falling over off the arm of my couch. So I made a table with some plywood scraps that fits over the arm. I chamfered the underside of the table, and the "legs" so they'd fit more easily over the arm. There's a bit too much hanging over the couch -- it's uncomfortable sometimes depending on how I happen to be sitting -- but other than that this turned out pretty well.

December Photos

December wasn't great for photos -- I was at work for most of the sunsets, and the air quality was particularly bad (we need rain!!) so there was lots of haze. Here are the ones I took:
